  1. Adjust Position of Webcams on Screen

    Move web cam feeds around when someone is screen sharing. My webcam is at the top of my monitor, when others talk I have to look down at their picture at the bottom, meaning they see the top of my head not my eyes. Would be nice to position top, bottom or the side by choice.

  3. Allow toggle for 'wrap text' in monospaced blocks of text

    In a conversation allow 'wrap text' as an option when adding a block of text as 'Monospaced'. We already have the ability to do so for Code snippet, so why not for Monopaced?

  4. Customize Sidebar

    I would really like the ability to choose which apps go in the sidebar. It just makes sense.

  5. Be able to move people's videos to top instead of bottom of screen (when someone is screen sharing a presentation)

    When in a group meeting, everyone's video screen appears at the bottom when someone is presenting their screen. It would be nice to be able to drag it to the top of the window instead. That's also where the webcam usually sits so it's better to be looking more directly into the camera (instead of halfway down the screen)

  7. Being able to distinguish collaboration context (internal vs. confidential)

    We are working with our team in a Private Teams because of confidentiality reasons. In this Teams we have setup different channels and additional (private) libraries to organize our day to day activities. In addition to all these private apps we are also linking to a public library (outside of this Teams) from within the Private Teams.

    We notice that for a lot of our users it is not clear that the content on this public library is disclosed to a lot more people then the people that are part of the Private Teams, simply because of the fact that…

  8. Video gallery options

    When using Skype for Business, participants were able to choose between "gallery view" or having in full-screen the participan that is talking at each moment

    I'm not able to find that option in Teams, only gallery view or pinning manually one of the video signals as main and full-screen.

    is this planned?

    Please implement a feature to show group members in a list, and choose members from there to start chatting

    ■Description(内容):
    Skype で使えていた機能が使えないため不便を感じています。
    管理者が用意したグループの一覧を用いて、各ユーザーがグループ内のユーザーを選択してグループ通話を開始する機能の実装を希望します。
    We feel very inconvenienced as the features we used in Skype cannot be used.
    We hope that a feature can be implemented to use group lists that the administrator has prepared, and let users choose the group users from there to begin group chat.

  10. Reflection of user information on Microsoft Teams client side after changes are done

    *English follows Japanese
    ■Title(件名):

    Reflection of user information on Microsoft Teams client side after changes are done

    ■Description(内容):
    Microsoft 365 管理センターからユーザーの表示名や部署等を変更した際に、Microsoft Teams クライアント側に情報の変更が反映されるまでに時間がかかるため、サインアウト、サインインを行うと変更後の情報を確認することが出来た。情報の反映を確認するために都度サインアウト、サインインを行うことは不便なため、Microsoft Teams クライアント側でユーザー情報変更後の反映をリアルタイムで更新、確認できるようにしてほしい。
    When the user display name and department etc are changed in Microsoft 365 Administration Center, it takes time for the information to be reflected on Microsoft Teams client side so we sign out and sign in again to get the information reflected. But having to sign out and in everytime to check if the information has been reflected is inconvenient, please make it so that reflection of user information on Microsoft…

  12. Make plain text the default paste option

    Ctrl+Shift+V for paste as plain text is not discoverable (I only found it after coming here and searching for suggestions to upvote to add support for pasting in plain text).

    For an instant messenger, plain text really should be the default paste option--there are many of the "paste as plain text" suggestions in which others have commented to this effect.

    This suggestion is to:
    1. Make pasting in plain text the default (Ctrl + V) option.
    2. Add context menu option(s) (similar to in MS Word) for other paste options (currently, I believe this would be one option to include…

  13. Hide the Teams application icon from the Recently added menu

    I don’t want our users to use Teams application until the deployment completed. So, it would be very helpful if we could hide the Teams icon from Recently added in the start menu when pressing Windows key even if it has been already installed in the device.

  14. View bookmark for Saved messages

    I appreciate the new Reactions for messages. However, I also rely very heavily on Saving messages. Since adding the new Reactions, the bookmark for saved messages is no longer visible on the message without opening the context menu -- this is very inconvenient. Please display the bookmark again on the message! Thanks

  15. Turn off auto-hide

    Yesterday was my first experience with autohide for "unused" teams. When I undid the autohide, I had to resort all those hidden teams manually (I keep my teams sorted alphabetically, which Teams makes us do manually for some crazy reason. Anyway, UX first principles...Teams shouldn't determine FOR ME what's "unused" and needs to be autohidden. Particularly if it makes me redo work. I barely have the time to learn how to use teams and convince others to use it. Don't sink your own ship by taking away user control. Listen to your UX team!

  16. Pop out any section of Teams

    Have parts of MS teams be able to pop out of Teams. This way you can work on one part of teams and you could have multiple chats going at the same time. This would be very much like being able to pop out emails from outlook and then go to tasks or calendar and be able to see everything at the same time.

  17. new posts vs replying needs to be more clear

    Right now , when you are in a channel, replying to a post vs starting a new post is too easily confused, leading to many posts that are meant to be "replies" to existing conversations.

    Break replies into their own column, making it obvious when you are creating a post vs. replying to a post. Using simple mspaint and some cut-n-paste powers, this was rather trivial simply by consuming the massive dead space in the UX. See attached.

  18. Reply

    Often, the <--Reply appears hidden behind the "Start a new conversation" field. This results in forking conversations rather than keeping all under a single topic thread.

    Could the Reply button move out where we already expect to see Conversation tools?

  20. Video Feed when Presenting Desktop

    When somebody else presents their desktop, I see a strip along the bottom of the screen with participant video feeds, along with my own feed of what others see from me. This is an ideal user experience.

    However, when I am presenting my desktop to others, this strip at bottom of screen goes away and I only see video of last person who spoke or is speaking. As a public speaker, I am used to seeing non-verbal cues from my audience while I speak and I lose this personal connection without this window.

    Please add an option to show video…
