  1. Transcribe audio messages sent from Teams mobile app

In addition to making the audio content searchable, a transcription would allow hearing impaired individuals to consume audio messages sent from Mobile clients.

  2. speech to text for chat interaction

User on the Tech Community has reported they find the app difficult because they suffer from carpal tunnel and so would like to do chats and start a call by speech. I believe that Teams should be made accessible to all as far as possible

  4. Allow Office Online tabs to respect the dark theme setting rather than have a bright white default background.

Allow Office Online tabs (Excel, Word, OneNote, etc) to respect the dark / High Contrast theme setting rather than have a bright white default background.

As a sight loss user, this causes a barrier for me in the desktop version of Teams, causing eye strain.

  6. Allow us to opt out of the automatic hiding of teams. It keeps hiding the team I use the most!

Provide an option where you can turn off the automatic hiding of teams that haven't been used in a while. The current algorithm has a glitch and it is hiding the Team I use the most. I have to "show" it every day!!!

  7. Link from Planner app task to actual task in Teams

The Planner app in Teams provides an overview of tasks assigned to a user in various Teams channels.
Typically it would be useful to be allowed to navigate back to the actual task within Teams to review the task within the context of the channel/tab/etc.

  9. Make the 'message delivered' icon green in chats

The icon for delivered messages looks like a clock now, which indicates it is not yet delivered. To make more clear a message is delivered, make it green, or remove the circle on the check mark.

  10. Teams Kiosk Mode

There is currently no native way to put Teams in kiosk mode so that the user remains within the application.

  11. Add "In Review" or "On Hold" to Progress status of a Task

To align with Agile methodologies, which have four status options for "user stories"/tasks, add a fourth option in the Progress drop down menu on each Task. The fourth option could be customizable or could be fixed to either "In Review" or "On Hold." Either gets a similar point across.

The four options in Agile could be:
    to-do
    doing
    in review
    completed

  13. Enable scrolling through a channel with keyboard

When I'm working from home, I frequently am using a touchpad and keyboard for my work, so clicking on a scroll button and dragging is really hard and inconvenient.

Expected: When I click the pointer in a channel, a message should be selected, and the up and down arrows should move to the previous and next message, respectively.

    Currently: Here is video.
    0:01 I select the channel
0:04 move my pointer into the channel and click hoping to see a message selected.
0:07, 0:09 I move a little closer to a message, and click again and again. Still nothing.
    0:10…

  14. Export complete Chat conversations

Right now if we want to save the conversation of a Chat we do so by individually selecting them one by one.

It will be helpful if we can do that by right clicking a chat window and export/save is gets enabled.

  15. Allow the addition of Alt Text for images

The addition of Alt Text is a basic accessibility consideration. Currently we can't do this is Teams (you can do it easily in Yammer).

Currently we are using the work around of adding descriptive text when posting an image.

  17. RSS Connector name and Favicon added to title of post

We have various suppliers RSS feeds going into a Channel for operations \ technical teams to be aware of outages of platforms. However, unlike webhooks these all get posted into the Channel with a title of RSS.

It would be more useful if the name of the RSS feed, which you've got to add "Enter a name for your RSS connection." when you configure it would be used instead.

It would also be great if for a Webhook or RSS feed, it pulled and used the websites Favicon.

  18. Create a "saved bookmarks" icon on the left along with Activities, etc.

We use bookmarks a lot to make sure we don't miss stuff we want to follow up on. We can access all of our bookmarks under our profile, but it would be far more convenient if we could access it with one click. My suggestion is that there should be a bookmarks icon along the left bar where Activity, Teams, etc. are located.

  19. Enter button should return!!!

Its so hard to write something formal, especially to a manager or to another team. Its very irritating when you hit return expecting a return but rather actually send the message, sometimes incomplete...

  20. Actual keyboard usability

Trying to use Teams with a keyboard is a dreadful experience. I'd like to explain why, here, but it wouldn't do it justice. The product team just needs to use it for a day, trying not to touch the mouse and write down every time they have no choice but to reach for the mouse. Keyboard nav needs a complete overhaul, not the token keyboard shortcuts found on `ctrl+.`.

This applies to the app and the web ui.
