  1. Make Polls / Surveys / @Polly - Native / Integrated in the product

Surveys were added to the product through 3rd part integration using Bot @Polly. However, as mentioned by some of the users, companies block bots due to their policies and on top of that, the bot asks to access some user information and no one mentioned if it is covered by the same privacy, security, compliance standards that we expect with our subscription to office 365?

It would be much better to have it as a native feature

I want to use Bot from Guest account at Microsoft Teams.

Currently, Bot does NOT response to Guest accounts.
    Tenant account can chat Bot,
But Guest account can NOT do it.

I hope to chat Bot at our channel

  5. whitelist specific bots

We would like the ability to whitelist specific bots at an organisation level, so that users can only add/use approved bots.

At the moment if bots are enabled there are no restrictions on which bots users can use. We've had to disable bots at this stage due to this missing functionality which is available in products like Facebook for Work

  6. bots get all messages in channel

Allow bots to receive all messages in a channel they've been authorized on, even if they aren't explicitly mentioned.

This allows the ability for the bot to proactively provide help in the context, like expand ticket numbers when they're mentioned etc.

  7. Give OneNote Slash Commands for Maximum Onenote-Teams Integration

I've seen multiple requests here for integration with OneNote, and I think the best solution would be a combination of logical integrations with OneNote and slash commands or even a bot. In terms of slash commands, these come to mind:

    - /one textsearchhere: Let users search OneNote from directly within Teams and see a preview of/results from within the team's primary OneNote; users can then insert that directly into a conversation for easy knowledge base referencing.

    - /onenew Title of Note Here: Let users start a note from directly within Teams with a simple slash command that, when activated by…

  8. Support rendering of tables within cards

It would be helpful to be able to render tables of values as part of the content of cards pushed into Teams via the connector/webhook functionality.

  9. Polly highly inadequate as polling solution

The Polly offering for Teams is in beta. They don't have simple things like multiple choice answers, recasting a vote, retracting your vote or even deleting a poll that was created.

Poor choice for a polling solution.

  10. Could we not turn on ******** like T-Bot by default? While I realize bots may be useful for

Could we not enable bots such as T-Bot by default and/or provide the option to disable them completely? As far as I'm concerned
bots just create notifications without adding any actual value, which disrupts my ability to actually do work. (I will note that if an app disrupts my ability to work, I just turn it off.)

I will admit that in theory somebody could write a bot that I find useful. However, 99% of the ones I've seen are just a nuisance.

If I want tips, by the way, I understand Microsoft runs a search engine which I can…

  11. Send attachments to a custom chat bot

Want to be able to send files for my bot (not just images from mobile app) and attach them on a message directly on a chat with my bot. It can allows us to provide better solutions with our chat bots.

  12. attach file to bot

It should be possible to attach files to chats with bots in the desktop client. In the mobile client it is possible to send images to the bot.

  13. Build in QnA bot into Teams

It would be great if you could build in your QnA bot into Teams and have it digest the channels SharePoint (files) for Questions and Answers?

    I'm thinking something like.

    1. I ask a question.
    2. It returns results
    3. I say "not found"
    4. It posts it to channel as a Question that needs answering
    5. Once answered Bot asks requester if it answers question
    6. If so answer added to share point as something (word doc? excel? List? I don't know.

Also some options to update/expand answers, or mark them as needing to be re-answered?

    Then you…

  14. When chatting with a bot directly, no need to use @ symbol to issue command

When in a team room, using the @ symbol to interact with a bot is great. But when chatting directly with a bot (1 on 1), it seems redundant to have to type @<bot name> and the command. It would be nice to just be able to type the commands directly when chatting 1 on 1 with a bot.

  15. Bot Permissions Contract

Kind of like installing an app on a phone, bots should list the permissions they expect to be able to use (i.e. don't give all bots the same permissions by default, make the developers choose what they need) and the Teams user that's adding a bot can decide whether or not they want to use the bot based on permissions requested by a bot.

  16. Reduce some of the permissions that the new 3rd party Bots have

I'm looking at the new integration with 3rd party Bots. At the moment I am not adding any bots because of the permissions they require.

This bot has the following permissions:
Receive messages and data that I provide to it.
    Send me messages and notifications.
Receive messages and data that team members provide to it in a channel.
Send messages and notifications in a channel.
Access my profile information such as my name, email address, company name, and preferred language.
Access this team's information such as team name, channel list and roster (including team member's names and email addresses) -…

  17. fix help

Fix help - It claims T-Bot is still there to help - which is not
and says you can click on profile picture at the top of the app to find Help - which you can't..
Don't even have a help category had to choose bot..

  19. who bot

Suggest possible alternatives when you spell a name slightly wrong when looking for someone in AD using Who bot. Rather than just saying "Sorry, I couldn't find anyone named (example) Stephen Park", Who bot could add "Did you mean Stephen Pask?"

  20. Simple Tasks for T–Bot

It would be nice if T-Bot could perform simple tasks like remind me to do this at this time or remind me to follow up with such and such.
