Hi there, you’ve reached the user feedback site for Microsoft Teams. It’s managed by our Customer Advocacy Team inside Microsoft Teams Engineering led by Karuana Gatimu. Our entire team believes in representing your needs inside our engineering group and we appreciate the time you take to share them with us. Rest assured that a large team of dedicated people read and discuss your feedback!
Here’s how to get your voice heard:
For official product and feature updates we recommend three things:
The Fine Print: We have partnered with UserVoice, third-party service and your use of the portal and your submission is subject to the UserVoice Terms of Service & Privacy Policy, including license terms. Please do not send any novel or patentable ideas, copyrighted materials, samples or demos for which you do not want to grant a license to Microsoft.

Add team wide reminders
We have weekly bot reminders currently on Slack and that would be a big advantage to getting our whole team moved over.
For example:
- Tuesdays at noon: Reminder - team meeting in 30 minutes
- Last Friday of month: Finish submitting hours
- etc....1,325 votesThis feature is under review by the feature team. No new feedback at this time.

Delete bot messages
With the Polly bot, sometimes a member of one of my Teams will make an error while writing out a poll. Currently it is not possible to remove this poll, or, as far as I can tell, any message that is created by a bot.
It would be great to be able to delete messages created by bots.

Add Cortana
Imagine this chat conversation between two users:
Patrick : Sales is doing great now...
James : Yes but I wonder where we are growing?
Patrick: @Cortana Show me revenue by country in October 2016
Cortana: [Shows a graph with top selling countries with a link to the Power BI report]
James: @Cortana What product sells best in Sweden?
Cortana: [Answers with text] "Superduper Sport Shoe" has most revenue in Sweden for October 2016.Now imagine adding in a bot that can answer questions about inventory or even a procurement bot...
323 votesThis feature request is still being worked upon.
I am still trying to get details on what we could expect for Cortana in Teams and will share examples once something is available.

Allow on premise bots
By allowing bots which are hosted "on premise" (behind a company firewall), one allow to access systems from that company.
This is the situation for many companies where the infrastructure or services which need to be reachable by bots is not on the public internet. Some scenarios:
- A bot is running behind a company firewall
- The bot connects to MS teams, joins a channel, and "listens" to conversations (outbound connection to the internet)This enables interactions like:
- @bot, list defects (from an in-house issue tracker)
- @bot, add capacity to applicationx (after an authorization phase, on-prem application…305 votesThe feature team is still investigating this item and a decision has not been made yet.

Remove Bot Mention Requirement
It seems as though currently all bots only work if you @mention them, so my assumption is that this is a requirement of the api used to develop the bots.
Many people from my organization are used to IRC/Slack style bots where an explicit @mention isn't required for bots to parse a message and respond.
Sometimes there is fun functionality that can be added for a lot of bots and having to @mention a bot really detracts from the user experience of some bots.
I can also see this getting out of hand when using a lot of bots, so…

add scrum/agile stand-up bot
It would be nice if there was Stand-up bot for Teams.

Scheduled auto-post messages/notifications on channels
Our teams posts routine updates/notifications on our channel (mainly posting who is the POC for the team on that day). It would be nice if we can schedule a specific message to be posted on specific timings (or even better if customizable messages for different timings) for automation.

Make Polls / Surveys / @Polly - Native / Integrated in the product
Surveys were added to the product through 3rd part integration using Bot @Polly. However, as mentioned by some of the users, companies block bots due to their policies and on top of that, the bot asks to access some user information and no one mentioned if it is covered by the same privacy, security, compliance standards that we expect with our subscription to office 365?
It would be much better to have it as a native feature

whitelist specific bots
We would like the ability to whitelist specific bots at an organisation level, so that users can only add/use approved bots.
At the moment if bots are enabled there are no restrictions on which bots users can use. We've had to disable bots at this stage due to this missing functionality which is available in products like Facebook for Work

BOT support for Suggested Actions
Currently Teams does not render Suggested Actions (while it does support various Cards).
Enable the support/render of Suggested Actions to provide simple predefined choices/answers to the user.

Polly highly inadequate as polling solution
The Polly offering for Teams is in beta. They don't have simple things like multiple choice answers, recasting a vote, retracting your vote or even deleting a poll that was created.
Poor choice for a polling solution.

Let me delete the T-Bot chat.
It's annoying that there is no option to delete the T-Bot chat from chats, only enable and disable, and when it's disabled it still doesn't remove it from the chat.

Integration of Microsofts Q&A bot into team-channels
Microsoft has a Q&A bot-maker.
There should be the possibility to create/integrate a Q&A bot within a channel/team.
The Q&A bot should scan questions in the channel and answer questions that where previously already answered.35 votes -
Polls
Please add the poll feature in the chat. At work, we use Teams as an internal communication tool instead of the email. Sometimes we need to vote for some ideas. For it we have to create a separate Form. I was wondering how it would be wonderful, if creating poll feature was in the chat.

Ability to set a scheduled notification (alarm) to go off in a channel or chat via T-Bot
It could be nice to have T-Bot remind a channel or chat at a certain time about something. Been a couple situations where I am in a chat with multiple people and we schedule an informal meeting and forget about it. T-Bot could do reminders for things in channels.
Scrum Master: "Remember to update your tasks (4:00PM)"
Me: "Remember our meeting at 4PM"25 votes -
Private Corporate Applications without side-loading
There is currently no way to create a bot, tab or connector that is private to your organization without enabling side-loading. This makes creating bots/apps for Teams impossible for many organizations. Even if side-loading was an option, the process is not end-user friendly and requires multiple technical steps. Publishing the app to the app store (even with authentication) is not an option either.
In Skype, we can load a bot directly into our Tenant. Then users can search for it like any other contact. We need a similar function for Teams - corporate created apps that are available only with…

Build in QnA bot into Teams
It would be great if you could build in your QnA bot into Teams and have it digest the channels SharePoint (files) for Questions and Answers?
I'm thinking something like.
- I ask a question.
- It returns results
- I say "not found"
- It posts it to channel as a Question that needs answering
- Once answered Bot asks requester if it answers question
- If so answer added to share point as something (word doc? excel? List? I don't know.
Also some options to update/expand answers, or mark them as needing to be re-answered?
Then you can build up a corproate QandA…

Allow asking questions to bot inside channel
Imagine this conversation inside the channel:
Me: @Bot: Can you tell us what is the current load on our live site service?
Bot: 1245 TPS for last one hour.Right now this conversation works when done in private chat but doesn't work inside the channel.
22 votesJust add mention the bot in a channel and it will start to engage with you.

service now
Please add Service Now as a connector to MS Teams. Would be great to get notifications and or perform actions like approve, start, assign, closed etc.
