  2. Introduce a feature inside channels, to pin a post to the top

    At present, it's very easy to miss seeing an important post in a sea of posts, on a channel that sees a lot of traction. There should ideally be an option to pin important posts to the top of the channel, so that it's not inconspicuous.

  3. Don't generate random names for channel email address

    After you create a new Channel, when you choose "Get Email Address" it generates an email that is just random characters. It would be nice if it generated an email address based on the Channel name like it does for a new Team. Other suggestions have asked for the company name to be in the email address, or for the IT Admin to have more control of the name, such as the ability to customize the name.

  4. Snipping tool

    Please add a screen printing (snipping tool) in teams so we can capture part of our screen to show our team members.

  5. Tasks

    I'd like to be able to mark a comment in a team or chat as a task, and then have a section (with Activity/Chat/Teams/Files) called Tasks that listed all of the things I've marked as tasks. You should only be able to assign tasks to yourself, but can be on yours or others' posts. Others should be able to see that you marked it as a task. You should also be able to mark as complete, and others should be able to see that as well.

  6. Combine conversations

    Sometimes it happens, that a reply to a conversation is not created (by user) as a reply but with a new conversation.
    I must say, that this is happening very often.

    Due to this fact, I request a feature to combine existing conversations into one!

    That would be also helpful for conversations that are created by receiving Emails with the Emails-connector. Often those conversation based on Emails should get combined or get connected afterwards.

  7. Merging Teams

    Merging Teams: As organizations evolve, functions are merged and as a result there is a need to merge Teams including files and content

  8. Expand multiple teams simultaneously

    At present (or at least in my environment), you can only expand 1 team and the other team will collapse itself once you click away. Since teams do not generate notifications this isn't ideal.

  9. Conversation Order.

    We should be able to choose the order of conversations. At the very least, the most recent conversation should be on top. It takes too long to scroll all the way to the bottom.

  11. Hash Tag and Find option in Microsoft teams

    This will help us categorise every conversation under the umbrella of Hash Tag also provide find option do that any information can be found using keywords

  12. Delete Connector Generated Posts

    We have an RSS connector publishing posts to a channel. Sometimes, these posts aren't relevant to the channel.

    It would be good if anyone (or possibly just the Group Owners) could delete these connector generated posts.

    Without deleting the post, relevant channel connect gets pushed up the feed meaning its more likely that useful conversations aren't seen.

  13. Each instance of a recurring meeting should have separate conversation history

    We have a recurring meeting tied to the team's channel and the conversation history has grown way too long over time. Each reply also notifies the accumulation of all participants even if they're not attending the current instance anymore.

  14. Merge teams to prevent multiple teams with the same purpose

    People will start a team if they cannot find some team that match their needs. However, when they actually find a team that is similar afterwards, I can imagine that like to merge.

  15. Action items and tracking

    It would be awesome to add action items in any of channel to a person and each person received consolidated list of action items (in separate space) that they can review without going thru each of the channel

  16. Sharing Desktop Zoom in and out capability

    Participants should have the capability to zoom in on the user who's sharing their screen with the participants.
    this functionality is available on Skype for business, it's called Actual Size / Windows Fit

  17. Remove wiki tab from default team creation

    Please allow the capabilities to setup default tabs in "admin center" settings for a new Team creation. Where default tabs could be setup by AD groups or users or channels within a team.
    Currently having a wiki tab by default is annoying and useless feature.

  18. Promote Channel to Team

    It would be useful to be able to promote a Channel to become a Team in its own right. Typical scenario is where there is a Team with channels for a number of potential projects; when a project gets the green light, this will be assigned to a new Team. Would be useful to retain the existing Channel content to kick off the new Team.

  19. Convert an existing channel out into a new team.

    I would like to be able to easily convert an existing channel out into its own new team. I would like to be able to maintain a New Projects Team containing channels for various new projects in their consideration/potential development phase, once a new project is accepted for full development I would like to be able to convert that channel out into its own full fledged team.

  20. Set reminders on conversations and replies within a conversation.

    Problem: You create a conversation to do something (such as create a new icon) and the team member responds they will get to it later, but there is no way to go back to see what conversations require follow up.

    Possible solution: set reminders on a conversation or a reply within a conversation for individual team members or the whole team with a certain date or time.
