  1. Allow the ability to paste customise hyper links into Teams to open a locally installed application.

We want to have the ability to paste a customised URL into Teams chat/channels. This will allow us to paste hyper links in the same way we paste them into Skype for Business chats.
This was removed from Skype for Business/Lync with KB2956174 and I fought with Ticket REG:116051614167831 to have the functionality restored for over 2 years.
Now this has been restored, MS removed it in Teams but wants everyone to move to Teams.
The lack of this functionality is a roadblock to us moving forward with the full Teams integration.
The link we want to use looks like…

  2. Exportable reporting data

Ability to export report data for external reporting and warehousing.
I.e. extract data from and WebAPI that allow custom reporting by exposing data on a granular level?

E.g. session details, conference, voice quality, screen sharing etc. much like what exist for Skype for Business today (on site).

  3. More integrations in Outlook

When reading an email in Outlook, we have the options to "Reply", "Reply All", "Forward" etc. It would be nice to also have an option to discuss in Teams instead of having to forward to the email associated with the team. This will help get users out of the habit of clicking "Reply" and discussing directly through email.

  4. OneNote Integration

It would be nice to be able to view and utilize other sections of the the Team's OneNote notebook outside of the General_Notes section. Currently I don't see a way to see other sections within the Notebook other than opening the notebook in OneNote Online or OneNote Desktop app.

  5. Document Set in Teams

Make document sets from Sharepoint Available in Teams, or give us the full Sharepoint Document Library feature Set.

  6. Include Skype users (not just Skype4Business/Lync users) as external.

I dont know if it is an option that we need to turn ON, but i do not seem to be able to add external users to a Team.
I would expect to be able to add any of the following:
    * Email address (so messages can be emailed to a 'team').
    * Skype (standard skype, NOT S4B / Lync)
    * Skype 4 Business / Lync (apparently this is supported - but i just cant see it).

  9. Add a "Teams" icon into Outlook address book

When a new Team is created, a new email address is automaticaly created on Exchange.
Unfortunately there is no icon to identify this new Team into the Outlook user address book. (The "icon" filed is simply left blank.)

It would be nice to add a "Teams" icon into Outlook.

  11. Google Calendar

I rely on Google Calendar for all of my day-to-day events so right now, I’m having to manually put in my shifts that I’m assigned on Teams. Would be nice to have it sync with my Calendar and maybe even show my supervisor when a shift conflicts with an event on my calendar, similar to Outlook when scheduling a meeting. I’m sure others would benefit from this too? Thanks!

  13. Integrate Teams Meetings into Consumer Skype App

My request here is to enable the consumer Skype App to support Microsoft Teams Meetings. This will mean every user who has the Skype App installed can easily join Microsoft Teams Meetings. This would give MS a competitive edge over WebEx, Go-to-meetings, etc., because a broader range of users will have a usable App already installed on their device.

As a Microsoft Teams user, I frequently send out meeting requests to users outside my organisation who have difficulty joining the meetings from their PCs. There are often issues with downloading the app, and once they install it, it is often…

  14. Microsoft Teams Room Systems

    Hello Everyone,

May we please suggest that Microsoft Teams provides the same features for Skype Room Systems (with the Conversation, Content and share tray abilities) for Microsoft Teams meetings for conference rooms?

Thank you for taking the time to help bring this idea into fruition.

  15. Teams to join a skype meeting

During interopeabiltiy phases, a Teams client needs to be able to join a Skype meeting without the skype client being installed on the desktop or mobile device. There should only be a single collaboration tool required.

  16. Federation with the Matrix Protocol

I know there are already a lot of requests for federation. This is a different type of request though, as it is more specific:

Similar to how true email federation uses open source federated protocols like IMAP, SMTP, POP3, true federated banquet style chat applications should also use open source federated protocols to allow other clients & hosts.

The Matrix protocol (which is managed by a non-profit organization) is the most popular way to do this. I would love if Microsoft Teams added support for this to allow it to truly replace email, and communicate with customers, vendors, etc. that…

  17. Stated supported browser versions are not supported.

Several places Teams' documentation/guidance states: "Use supported internet browsers, which include: Internet Explorer 11+, Microsoft Edge 12+, Chrome 51.0+, and Firefox 47.0+."

However, I've found that the most recent Chrome version which is supported is 59, and the most recent Firefox version which is supported is 52.

Otherwise the message to download an updated browser or use the Teams app is displayed.

    This is on Windows 10.

  18. Can you integrate with Degreed, the learning platform, please?

We currently use Degreed as the DNA for our learning solutions. I would love for our learners to be able to access Degreed throuhg MS Teams the way they do for other tools, like Box, Office 365, etc.

  20. email team directly

It would be good if we could create an email to the entire Team, directly from the root team's context menu.

rather than having to go back to Outlook, find the group definition an create an email from there.
