  1. Application "hides" the Ctrl+Shift+F12 keyboard shortcut (View.NextError in Visual Studio)

When the Microsoft Teams application is running, the Ctrl+Shift+F12 keyboard shortcut in Visual Studio (View.NextError) does not work.

When I close Teams, the shortcut starts working in VS.

  2. Allow the ability to paste customise hyper links into Teams to open a locally installed application.

We want to have the ability to paste a customised URL into Teams chat/channels. This will allow us to paste hyper links in the same way we paste them into Skype for Business chats.
This was removed from Skype for Business/Lync with KB2956174 and I fought with Ticket REG:116051614167831 to have the functionality restored for over 2 years.
Now this has been restored, MS removed it in Teams but wants everyone to move to Teams.
The lack of this functionality is a roadblock to us moving forward with the full Teams integration.
The link we want to use looks like…

  3. vdi

Support for VDI (Non-Persistent) environments or App-V package ?

Is there any roadmap to make Teams available to support non-persistent VDI and/or including it being available as an App-V package?

As it installs to %LOCALAPPDATA% for the current user it's not suitable for roaming profiles by default but even if it's folder is included the size of the folder is BIG so make's it even more unsuitable. Would also need to disable updates for Non-Persistent VDI/App-V.

  4. More integrations in Outlook

When reading an email in Outlook, we have the options to "Reply", "Reply All", "Forward" etc. It would be nice to also have an option to discuss in Teams instead of having to forward to the email associated with the team. This will help get users out of the habit of clicking "Reply" and discussing directly through email.

  5. we need Link(s) to message(s).

Sometimes you need to inform someone else of the message. Regardless where it is posted.

To avoid the need to copy and paste message to someone, maybe privately, would be very handy to be able to just get the link to the message and user could see that particular message after opening it.

Same way like Facebook link in phone opens the Facebook app and shows the same content.

  6. Search for Jira Issue number

When a new Jira Issue is posted to a channel, the title of the Issue is searchable, but not the content. I would at least like to be able to search for the Jira Issue number.

  8. copy & paste a picture to Outlook

    Hi Team,
it's not possible to copy & paste a Picture from Teams chat to an Outlook Email. Constantly I'm only seeing a white frame in Outlook.
System: Windows 10 1809, Outlook Client of O365 (monthly channel)
    Please fix this.
    Kind regards,
    Daniel

  11. Save to a Channel in Teams from Outlook

Outlook can already save to a Team/Group folder, but it drops into the root only. It would be nice to send to the channel as well, not just the root.

  12. OneNote Integration

It would be nice to be able to view and utilize other sections of the the Team's OneNote notebook outside of the General_Notes section. Currently I don't see a way to see other sections within the Notebook other than opening the notebook in OneNote Online or OneNote Desktop app.

  14. Add a "Teams" icon into Outlook address book

When a new Team is created, a new email address is automaticaly created on Exchange.
Unfortunately there is no icon to identify this new Team into the Outlook user address book. (The "icon" filed is simply left blank.)

It would be nice to add a "Teams" icon into Outlook.

  15. Include Skype users (not just Skype4Business/Lync users) as external.

I dont know if it is an option that we need to turn ON, but i do not seem to be able to add external users to a Team.
I would expect to be able to add any of the following:
    * Email address (so messages can be emailed to a 'team').
    * Skype (standard skype, NOT S4B / Lync)
    * Skype 4 Business / Lync (apparently this is supported - but i just cant see it).

  18. bad request error when trying to edit a word document in teams

when I try and open a certain formatted template we use, I get a "bad request" error. I can edit in word, but cannot do the same thing in Teams. I can edit standard formats without issue.

  20. Stated supported browser versions are not supported.

Several places Teams' documentation/guidance states: "Use supported internet browsers, which include: Internet Explorer 11+, Microsoft Edge 12+, Chrome 51.0+, and Firefox 47.0+."

However, I've found that the most recent Chrome version which is supported is 59, and the most recent Firefox version which is supported is 52.

Otherwise the message to download an updated browser or use the Teams app is displayed.

    This is on Windows 10.
