  1. Teams Hyperlinks Client Issue

When I click on "get link" in order to send a link to someone on my team, the link is client-specific. Meaning, if I create the link using the Deskop Application the link tries to use the Desktop Application when clicked on, if I use the Web, the link is to the Web, etc. Since each member of my team has different preferences, Desktop App, Web, Mobile App, etc. Using and sharing links to various content within teams is burdensome at best! The links should be client agnostic, or configurable ("By default open links in [Insert Client]") for easier collaboration…

  2. I can't open 2 areas at the same time: ex. conversations & a file

allow multiple locations to open at the same time so you can read from one while editing another.

  3. MS just continues to make thing different so the staff has to get used to yet another way of doing things. it is cute but not logical

Just another way of doing things, everytime MS comes out with something new the old functionality goes away, they change color palletes to terrible pastel colors, and bury the functionality in places that is hard to find how to use them. It is definitely built for 20 year olds, cute but not very functional with no relationship to programs of the past. Apple on the other hand still uses the same logic that they come up with in the 80's so the basic functions are tuned and modified but you do not have to relearn how to find things within…

  4. Include Botton in Outlook to open Teams

It would be great to have a botton in Outlook to be able to start Teams, the way you do with onedrive, for instance.

  5. 90% of a product isn’t enough Teams, give me a 105% product

Interoperability only because you need to interoperate with what Sys Admins want more, AND your interoperability with humans needs a little work. YOU ARE ALMOST THERE! DON’T SLOW DOWN.

You don’t need a task list - you have one here on uservoice. You need to start addressing issues, FINISHING issues.

I’ve been struggling to deploy here for almost a year. You are the best of what’s out there, but that last 10% is affecting my health. Put your big-person pants on and get’er’done!

  7. Set a status to reflect what Work Items you are currently working on - TFS connector

As a user, it would be awesome to set a status specific to a TFS item you are currently working on.

Possibly Microsoft Teams could publish items that are set to "In Progress" under your profile so that other users are aware of what you are currently involved in at the moment.

  8. Office Online not active when switching between applications and Teams

When working in Office Online documents it seems that if I switch to another application and back to Teams, I have to click inside the office document to be able to work with Excel cells or for instance paste inside a word file. It would really be a timesaver not being necessary to click inside Teams every time.

  9. Add option on a tab to "make this tab a new channel" (or something similar)

Sometimes I start a Tab, for example a Planner for a certain topic, then later discover that it's going to be a bigger project than I realized and that I really need a separate Channel for this topic. Rather than creating a new channel and migrating everything over piece by piece, I would like to click on the options for the Tab and start a new Channel with the same title of the Tab and automatically move the Tab to the new Channel.

  10. outlook email link spam

When sending an email thread to a channel email address (obtained by clicking "..." by the channel name), only the top email on the thread should be posted to MS Team channel, since it already contains the link to the email thread back in Outlook.

By currently expanding all emails on that email thread on the posting add too much clutter to MS Teams.

  11. Separated from * .teams.microsoft.com by URL not including statics.teams.microsoft.com

It is assumed that communication of Teams client updates will flow to the Express Route side and tighten bandwidth, so it seems that statics.teams.microsoft.com has been separated from * .teams.microsoft.com as a workaround. However, I want you to define it in a completely separate form, for example, teamsupdate.microsoft.com, rather than inclusive with * .teams.microsoft.com.

  12. Properly Integrate Teams and SharePoint Project Sites

There should be seamless integration between Teams and a SharePoint Project site - otherwise what's the point of a separate Team space? It duplicates work and data! For example, when somebody creates a SharePoint project site, it should automatically create a new Team. As users are added to the SharePoint site they should be automatically added to the Team and vice-versa.

  13. Allow Excel Sheet Attribute Linking across multiple files in Teams.

I need to be able to use standard Excel attribute linking between multiple Team hosted Excel sheets. I get an error saying this feature is not supported. This drastically helps with documentation and analysis documents. If I have say a definitions excel sheet I can just simply link the definitions every time in new sheets so I only have to update values in one location.

  14. Screen sharing in Teams/Skype for Business interop. Feature ID: 53934

In the o365 roadmap Featured ID: 53934 was launched.

However we are unable to share our screens with s4b users, unless we escalate the call to a teams meeting, which is not a solution for us or the partners we work with.

Please implement native app and desktop sharing between Teams
and Skype for Business and not this bodged work around.

  16. Access to on-demand flows in sharepoint list when accessing within teams

When you create a flow in a SharePoint list which can be run on demand per item in the list and you add this sharepoint list as a tab in a Microsoft Teams channel, the option to run flows does not exist and thus you have to access the page via the browser to access this feature. It would be very helpful if this can be accessed in teams instead.

  18. student video assignments using stream

Students should be able to submit a video assignment via stream. This would have to be locked down so that once the assignment is submitted, the video could not be edited. Admin for the course would be able to share the video (for example with external markers)

  19. Interoperability with Cisco Unity for voice messaging

Key requirement for our company is to allow voice messages to be exchanged between users on Cisco vs Teams platform. For example a broadcast message sent from Unity to be delivered to multiple users Teams/Exchange, and 1:1 voice messages to be exchanged between users on Cisco CUCM/Unity and Teams/Exchange. Will be a critical factor to enable widescale Teams migration. Is there any prospect of this natively or with a 3rd party tool?

  20. Sig´´

    Signalize a Running Call

We are a system integrator that uses mainly Crestron products. At the moment there is no option to get the information from Skype/Teams if there is a running call / active call. It would be usefull so we can implement signal lights that light up red when the user is in an active call.
