  1. Teams not pulling contacts from incoming calls on mobile

When receiving calls, if a user is outside my company, but I have a contact for them in my Outlook (which is also on my iPhone), it won't pull the name.

Weirdly, if I then go to contacts on the iPhone and then back to Teams, the contact then shows for that call.

Teams should be able to pull contact info while the phone is ringing though.

  2. Be able to search for and join teams from mobile app

Currently, the search only returns messages and people. it should also return teams so you can easily join them. The "manage teams" view should also allow you to join existing teams. Right now, you can only create new. This leads to people creating duplicate teams.

  5. Improve uploading of images and video files directly to a folder from the native ios camera app

Within the native ios app I would like to be able to select either images or a video and upload to a folder set up in a Teams channel.

At the moment I have to have the Teams channel open and have to select from that app. It will only place the image in the conversation, not directly in a folder.

  6. Simplify navigation in the mobile app

Nowadays, it has become customary to swipe left or right to go in and out of chats, lists, channels, etc in mobile apps, so that users can use a single hand to navigate between ongoing tasks, team conversations, chats, and more. Having recently converted from another chat based collaboration app, this is something I miss. I need to make an extra effort to reach the "back arrow" in the upper left corner.

  7. Mobile client naming standardisation

Please standardise the naming conventions used …

In the web and desktop clients the in team conversations are called "conversations" but in the mobile client they are titled "chat" which leads to confusion with foreign students as they are told that "Chat" is private one to one or one to many whereas conversations are "public" to the team membership.

When they use the mobile client they get stuck knowing which is the private and which is the stuff inside the team and this is a barrier to greater adoption.

  8. box integration on mobile app

    Hi,

I have a change request for integration with Box on Teams mobile app.

    Condition:
A team is created and configured to integrate with box.

    Current behavior:
    1. Share document over Teams.
    2. The document is stored in box.
    3. An user clicks the thumbnail of the document.
    4. Teams app redirect to Safari.

    Expected behavior:
    1. ~ 3. are the same.
    4. Teams app redirect directly to Box app.

This is VERY IMPORTANT because our administrator is restricting browser access to box. So currently, we have to take several steps to preview document shared using Teams app.

  10. Access to Teams files on Windows 10 Phone

Using a Windows 10 Phone, the Teams app does not seem to be able to access the files from OneDrive or the Sharepoint sites that a team is associated with. This severely limits usefulness of collaboration within the app. Would like to see files access!!!

  11. Stop logging out of mobile app

I use the Teams app when I am away from my desk but a few hours may go by before I notice I've been logged out and missing communication. We shouldn't have to re-log in and continuously check our status on the app.

  14. don't ring my cell phone

I like having Teams on my mobile device, but I NEVER want incoming Teams calls to ring to my cell phone. Give me the ability to turn this this 'feature' off.

  16. Show status as a phone icon when on mobile only

Differentiate when a user is on mobile vs desktop/browser. Show the available icon as a cell phone when on mobile only. Current implementation is confusing if someone is working or not. Showing something different for on mobile only would clear confusion and expectation of sender.

  19. OneNote in Teams Mobile App Broken with Update

Before the very welcomed update to OneNote integration with Teams of you went to tabs in the mobile app and clicked on OneNote it would open the notebook in the OneNote app intuitively. Now it is a link that will take you to OneDrive, fail, then force you to open in OneNote Online on your phone.

I can go back to channels set-up the old way and they still work. But all the new ones do not. I even made sure I had that notebook local to my device and it still tries to open in OneDrive.

    Please bring that…

  20. notification scenarios

Please add notification scenarios. For example I don't want notifications during my vacation or weekends, but on work days I do.
Can you create scenarios for that?
    - off work
    - at work
