  1. Make connector cards searchable

Contents of cards created via connectors do not currently show up in search.

  2. Send invites via the API

Support sending invites via the API. It would be super handy to be able to invite users to our Microsoft Team programmatically, and to specify which channels we'd like them to be added to.

  3. Permalink

I want to be able to point someone to a message in Teams via a URL (aka a permalink). This would be particularly useful when used from outside Teams (e.g. From a wiki, or from an email, etc) but would have use within Teams too. We currently use MatterMost (an on-premises Slack clone) and sharing permalinks to messages is something that people do often.

As far as I'm aware there's no way to get a permalink to a message from within the Teams desktop app, my request is that you make this possible. Thanks.

  4. EML file reader for reading emailed conversations to a channel

Related to the recent "Forward an email to a channel".
The full email is attached as an EML file. But it needs to be downloaded to read.
Please build an EML file reader into the application and browser experience. It will be valuable to read the full email without downloading.

  5. Multi-company groups

I really like Microsoft Teams, but i think it could be better working with people from any company using this app.

  6. Support @ notifications in messages posted through web hook API

We have automated messages posted to a channel and the @notifications are considered normal text and no actual notification happen. Since no one is notified of messages in channels to begin with (waiting for https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public-preview/suggestions/16911520-notifications-for-all-messages-in-a-channel to be implemented), we'd at least need notifications to work.

  7. gitlab connector

There is a connector for GitHub but not GitLab.
It would be nice to have this available as other git repositories are available.....

  8. Webhook needs to support forced notification a la "@channel", "@team", "@person"

Webhooks should have a property to force notification a la "@channel", "@team", "@person". I have been using Slack webhooks for notifications out of our monitoring platform and can use "@" tags to make sure that the correct channels get the data and if the condition is severe, notify "@channel".

  10. HUBOT support

I would like support for hubot: https://hubot.github.com

This could make the switch from Slack or FLowdock a lot easier.

  11. Web hook theme color

I can't get the themeColor element to work from a web hook.

On https://dev.outlook.com/Connectors/GetStarted it shows examples like: "themeColor": "EA4300" but on https://dev.outlook.com/Connectors/reference it says to specify colors with a # prefix. None of those seem to work. No accent color is shown in either the Windows desktop program or the Android app.

we have this!  ·  Suphatra responded

We have this — just click the ellipses next to the channel name when you are in the channel, and it will have a fly out that says “Connectors.”

  13. Show URL previews for messages from Connectors

When I post a URL as a user, Teams automatically expands the message to include a URL preview. When a webhook posts the same thing, the URL remains plain text.

The webhook should be able to opt in to the same "unfurling" treatment that the user's message received.

  14. Remember two step verification like other services. Having to re-verify everytime I log back into the Teams app is horrible.

Sorry you’ve had a hard time with the log in process, check with your IT Department as they may have control over this.
    Thank you,

  15. Fix Webhook API

Post cards using https://dev.outlook.com/Connectors/GetStarted or https://dev.outlook.com/Connectors/Reference as reference don't give the expecting results.

    On Android:
    - "text" value isn't shown...

On Windows 10, Android, Mac and iPhone:
    - "title" isn't format properly
    - "themeColor" isn't rendered
    - "potentialAction" aren't render like a button
    - "section" seems to work

It could be very nice if the Webhooks is fully working and give the same result on every plateform.

  16. Enable threading of Connector updates such as Webhooks

We've just finished building a webhook connector that will be giving us work item updates from our on-prem TFS. This is very exciting, however, every update comes in as a new thread. This is less exciting. We need the ability for, once a work item exists in a thread in the chat, for all work item updates pertaining to that work item to be threaded under that initial message. Otherwise, chaos. Perhaps the ability to arbitrarily define and ID for each webhook message, and when the same ID is re-used, it becones threaded?
