I'm seeing similar behavior as Joel Sanderson. I can copy an screenshot taken in Jing and paste it into Teams just fine. However, when I copy an image from the web (right-click/copy), paste doesn't work into Teams.

This doesn't seem to work in the Windows client?

I can paste an image in but the other users just get a load of HTML. Tried it with numerous users in different direction using the desktop client and it does it every time - paste image in but other users in chat see html

I found that I can paste images into a conversation in the desktop app. However with the web client, it initially looks like it works, but then the image is replaced with a generic image file icon. It also seems to be harder to submit a reply in the web client when including an image. Hitting enter didn't submit in a lot of cases.

Thanks - I see, it does work in some cases. I was attempting to copy an image from the OneNote desktop app (right-click the image, click "Copy"). When doing that, pasting into Teams does not appear to work. Copying from other applications works fine :)
