Linux client
My team has some users on Linux, and one benefit Slack has is a Linux client. Without a Linux client on Microsoft Teams, some orgs may have to turn away in favor of Slack so everyone can participate without keeping a browser open all the time.

Thank you for your feedback that helped us launch the Microsoft Teams Linux client. The client is now available for everyone to use. Please find instructions for installing and more details here: https://docs.microsoft.com/microsoftteams/get-clients#linux. Enjoy!

It’s great that we have a native Linux client for Teams in the works, now. However, I still won’t be able to use it at my organization until Azure AD adds conditional access support for Linux platform. Currently, with the policy set by our administrators, I’m not able to sign in on my Linux machine, for either the native or the web client.

Tested in openSuSE Leap 15.1 and CentOS 8. Found one issue: the client crashes when trying to share screen.

Add AARCH64 (ARM) support! Can't you just rebuild the client? Electron supports ARM64.

Based on quick testing, I found three minor issues in the Linux client preview:
- eats a lot of CPU
- moving to next slide sometimes takes a lot of time when presenting PowerPoint slides
- can't view presenter's notes when presenting PowerPoint slidesOther than that, the native app is awesome!

Awesome, but how to raise a support ticket when we have an issue with this Linux client?

I'm getting Restricted Access, then directed to this forum.

Linux (Ubuntu & CentOS 7) as a daily driver here, and I, too, have benefited from Slack being available on the platform, but my company has since migrated to Office365, and I need Teams! Thanks for finally making it happen

The camera has been working fine in the web version for me. To get the desktop application version to use the camera I had to select a different camera from the drop down (though I only have one camera).
"Integrated Camera: Integrated C" rather than "Integrated Camera: Integrated I".
Now to figure out how to get meeting links to open the desktop app...

Fedora 30 is "soon" end of life (F32 is under development), but it works great on Fedora 31 (which is the latest upstream)! :)

deb works great :),... except for the camera. It worked in the web version of Teams but not with the installed client. Any special rights or group memberships necessary/

Is there a way to change the default user agent string on requests sent by teams?
