Notifications for all messages in a channel
There is no clear way how to enable all notifications in channels. I have channel where I am interested in all messages.

I hope this brightens your Friday — your feature request is here! Our hardworking engineers have been working on this for weeks and we’re happy to report it released yesterday.
To set notifications for all messages in a channel, just click the little ellipses next to the channel name and choose “Follow this channel.”
If this made your Friday, please tweet to us! You can send the tweet to me (@skprufo) or just include the #MicrosoftTeams hashtag, and I’ll make sure it gets to our dev team.
THANK YOU for making Teams better and better with your awesome feedback. You guys are the best.
Sincerely,
Suphatra

YES. My team has a channel where notes are often added. I would like to be able to see a badge icon or something to know when there is new information here that I have not read.

Adding notifications to channel tabs so that when you open a channel you have a quick visual overview for when updates are made within each tab so that you don't have to click through all of tabs to find the updates.

I kind of like it. I mean I prefer not receiving notifications for important messages. Actually, is it possible that you could remove the ability to use text too? Then, this app would be golden.

We our an IT company and we would love to deploy this to our customers, but until the pop up notification for all messages is out we are not going to be using this product and sticking with slack.

When a new message topic is created a notification would be wonderful. We get them for replies, but not the original post.
Suggestion:
Make teams notify everyone that there is a new post. -

There was an update on 15th Feb. And STILL no notification on channel.
Is that so hard to adopt this? or is there any reason? just give us an option to choose... please..
It has been "WORKING ON IT" state for over a month..

Trialing this for my department and this is a glaring omission.
Thanks to those that mentioned the workaround but we'll hold off until channel notifications are possible.

Just wanted to chime in that adoption is near impossible with out audible notifications of ALL messages: group, private or otherwise. I have Teams open all day and frequently do not notice until hours later that someone tried to chat with a group I am in.

Okay, it's at least a workaround, I would be much better if team notifications would be possible.

Typing '@channelname' isn't going to work for most people because they have to remember to do it every time they type something in a team message.

THE Solution:
HI everyone
If you type "@channelname" , it will work, and everyone (sitting behind their computer) will receive a notification.
Just mention for example: @team.
Kind regards & your welcome ;-)

Definitely notification for all messages in a channel the person is part with Will increase dramatically the usage of the tool.
The main services/tools we use today have a active notification like Outlook, Skype, Facebook, WhatsApp...
